Selection Process For Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2025
The recruitment involves four stages:
1. Written Test (50 Marks)
- Subjects: General Knowledge & General English (10th level)
- Duration: 1 hour
- Candidates who clear this will move to the next stage.
2. Professional Skill Test (PST)
You will be tested in:
- Sweeping
- Mopping
- Cleaning of drains
- Cleaning of toilets
- Maintenance of septic tanks/sewer lines
This test is of Qualifying/Not Qualifying nature.
3. Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
To qualify, you must:
- Run 1.6 km in under 7 minutes
- Do 20 Squats (Uthak Baithak)
- Do 10 Push-ups
Conducted on the same or next day after PST.
4. Medical Examination
Only candidates who pass all previous stages will go through a medical test as per Indian Coast Guard norms.
