Job Roles & Responsibilities
CNS Consultant Duties:
- Coordinate with departments like Civil, ATC, Electrical, OEMs, vendors, and airlines.
- Help with laying cables, operating & maintaining CNS equipment and UPS.
- Assist in Air Navigation Services at ATS/Technical buildings.
Land Management Consultant Duties:
- Handle land allotment cases (lease/license based).
- Coordinate for mutation of land, record updates, and acquisition for airport expansion.
AAI Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria

For CNS Consultants:
- Retired PSU employees from E-7/E-6 level, or equivalent from Central/State Govt., Defence, Paramilitary Forces, etc.
- Should have 10+ years of experience in Operation & Maintenance of CNS and Air Traffic Automation Systems.
- Must maintain a 1-month cooling period after retirement before applying.
- Those who’ve completed 5 years as a consultant in AAI already, can’t apply again.
For Land Management Consultants:
- Must be a retired AAI official at DGM or Jt. GM level (E-6/E-7).
- Should’ve worked in Land Management, Civil Engineering, Law, Finance, Commercial, or Cargo Directorates.
- Need minimum 10 years’ experience.
- One-month cooling period applies here too.
- Same 5-year cap on prior consultancy applies.
Age Limit
- The upper age limit is 65 years as of the date of notification.
