Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualifications:
- Graduate Apprentices:
- Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering.
- Must possess a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant field from an AICTE-recognized institution.
- Technician Apprentices:
- Civil, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering.
- Must hold a Diploma in the respective engineering field.
- General Stream Graduates:
- Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree (BA, BSc, BCom, BBA, etc.) from a UGC-recognized institution.
- Graduate Apprentices:
Age Limit
- 18 to 25 years as of 01.09.2024 (born between 01.09.1999 to 01.09.2006).
Age Relaxation: Age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC-NCL candidates

Selection Process
- Merit List based on the aggregate percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying degree/diploma.
- In case of a tie, preference will be given to the candidate:
- With an older age.
- Who passed the matriculation exam earlier (in case of the same age).
- Land loser candidates (those who lost land to the Konkan Railway Project) will be given first preference.
- Second preference will be given to candidates from KRCL jurisdiction (Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, North/South Goa, Uttara Kannada, Udupi, and Dakshina Kannada).
